For their Review I presentation Team Messner explore the theme of energy. The team showed how this theme is related to their vision of infrastructure, society, economics and the identity of the valley. The team identified the valley as a vertical and horizontal system. which could be activated through new transportation infrastructure for example.

Team Tabei use the power of sound to create a vision for an acoustically sensitive valley. During Review I they presented a future senario were sound is used in innovate and unexpected ways to transform the valley.

Review I, day 01, Team Steck

Team Terray are interested in the idea of terroir, the coming together of community, production, the climate and the landscape. The team propose creating a multi-functional co-operative infrastructure that offers a node of exchange between different generations of inhabitants as well as visitors such as tourists. The team sees the youth of the valley as a catalyst for change.

Team Terrey are interested in the power of particpatory design to engage with the local population. The team identified key areas to enhance the quality of life in the area such as annual ferstivals in the valley, rennovation and reuse of existing buildings, providing multifunctional public space, and developing the tourist infrastructure.

Review I, day 01, Team Paradis

For their Review I presentation Team Paradis imagined Marie Paradis returning to the alps and to the village of Finhaut. Marie describes the great changes she sees and the hopes she has for the future of the valley.

Team Paradis presented a series of steps to develop their vision. By employing choice architecture  Paradis plan on developing a model of gamification to construct social norms and discover what infrastructure and interventions are necessary to great a self sufficient and sustainable future Finhaut.

Equipe Walker present their vision using a methaphor of the weaving and un-weaving of tapestry to describe the life of Heide in the Re-newable Valley.
